Foil stamping

Foil stamping technology creates the image by pressing a metallic or pigmented foil into the material using a hot cliché. Gold and silver foils are most popular, but also other tones – blue, green, red, holographic etc. are possible. Foil stamping mostly serves for logotypes, decorative elements, and fine details. Sometimes different post-processing technologies are combined (i.e. foil stamping, relief press or lacquering) to achieve original effects.
